Electrical Engineer
The
EZ Environmental Solutions Electrical Engineer will be responsible for
ongoing technical support for heated water industrial pressure cleaning
and recycling machinery electrical, PLC and instrumentation design,
installations, troubleshooting and upgrades for our machines and our
customers. This engineer will take charge of the engineering, design,
manufacturing, installation, and start up of systems with ongoing
responsibilities that include factory and field service technical
leadership and support to the operational teams to maintain and improve
the overall systems operational performance to meet customer
requirements. At times this person will be responsible for supporting
the manufacturing and field service organizations by building control
boxes, integrating them into the machines and performing electrical
repair and/or upgrades at customer installations. Travel to customer
installations throughout the United States will be required
approximately ten percent of the time. This engineer may help select
and manage outside contract resources for purchased components and
control box assembly work.
Requirements
• BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent industrial experience required • P&ID development and PLC programming experience with expertise in the Siemens product line required • Experienced in control system design with other PLC platforms (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.) and HMI's • Experienced in electrical schematic generation in ladder logic format • Create documentation for contract manufacturing of control boxes • Support of in-house manufacturing for point-to-point component wiring and control box assembly • Ability to generate and maintain flowcharts coincident with programming logic • Knowledge of and ability to design to meet applicable electrical safety standards (NEC, UL, ETL, NFPA, etc.) • Occasional travel to diagnose and repair customer equipment • Create process and instrumentation diagrams • Specify electrical components to meet engineering design standards • Experience with Autocad design software for electro-mechanical systems • Knowledge of SolidWorks design software helpful • Experienced in wire harness design • Past experience with pumps, motors, valves, switches, temperature and flow sensors and interrelating control logic helpful
